Starting a New Certification Program

I enjoyed participating in the Webster Community Arts Day and meeting so many enthusiastic adults and children. Everyone who stopped by seemed to have fun hooping with me. I received many inquiries about children's classes. I loved the concept and had a few ideas. After learning about the BodyHoops teacher training, I knew that would give me an even better foundation for teaching children's classes.

Beginning in the summer I will offer mini sessions for kids and I hope to offer after school programs at the elementary schools beginning in the fall.

Two opportunities to hoop this week

Back to our regular schedule this week. Monday class at noon and Tuesday evening class at 6. Also, hoops are available for purchase. I make hoops out of irrigation tubing and use gaffer tape for a nice grip. Having your own hoop gives you the chance to spend more time hooping. I love to have hoops at home. It can be a great five minute warm up, something to do while watching the kids play outside, or a rare hour long workout for myself.
